Conditions

In addition to the specific selection criteria defined by the universities and hogescholen, a number of general conditions apply:
  • you have joined the central selection procedure for the same course
  • you meet the requirements for prior education and subjects chosen before the start of the study year
  • you can apply decentrally for (no more than) one course or institution.
In addition to the general conditions the course stipulates which criteria you must meet. These primary selection criteria pertain to your prior education, subjects chosen at school, or work experience. Besides this, the criteria for decentralised selection are mainly related to specific knowledge and skills deemed important by the institution. The institution stipulates how often you can enter the decentralised selection procedure.

Attention
Withdrawal from decentralised selection does mean that you have used up one of your chances. For central selection you can withdraw until the numbers are known without using up a chance.
